Light flavour & Sweetness
Cityson is distilled with sorghum and corn close to Chengdu.
Essentially, it is classed as a light-aroma (qing xiang xing) baijiu, which means it has a less intense flavour and more sweetness than sauce-aroma or strong-aroma varieties, the other two main categories of baijiu.
You’ll only find a hint of that funky taste which is unique to baijiu, while the aftertaste is sweeter and longer.
Try it with tonic water for a refreshing long-drink with a bitter, dry finish.
